NO!! If someone is recommending a single solution [e.g. surfactant] they are overapplying or fooling themselves. Surfactants are a function of many aspects of the CBD world the ratio of componenets: CBD, carrier oil, surfactant, water, the CBD material [oil, juice, raw, decarboxylated, etc.] terpenes, minerals and which final product - drink, food, vape, topical, etc.
On the basis of a general principle of agitation but using different mechanisms, modem emulsions are prepared mainly by three types of emulsification equipment: homogenization (stirring), sonication, and microfluidization (pressurized liquid flow). Sonication generated emulsions through ultrasound-driven mechanical vibrations, which caused cavitation.
Know you goals! Know you starting product [plant, root, bud, oil, extract, crystal] and its composition. Know the desired concentration (of CBD, THC, terpenes, etc) in the final product. Know the rate [pounds/hr] of processing needed (extraction?, separation? mixing?)
